The Junior Room got lots of exercise running around searching for Easter Eggs and solving puzzles.
In preparation for all the goodies we'll be tucking into the over the Easter break, we decided to get out and get active with our Rabbit Relay. Lots of fun and great exercise. Marking Seachtain na Gaeilge with our Comórtas Tarraingt na Téide. Everyone got involved and we got to practice our Gaeilge, ag tabhairt tacaíocht ar a chéile. Bhí an craic againn!
A great way to get out in the fresh air and have a run around. The junior class went on a Shamrock Hunt for St. Patrick's Day.
Tá rang a 2 agus rang a 3 ag glacadh páirt i 10@10 as gaeilge gach lá agus tá siad ag baint taithneamh as i ndáríre.
The day of the holidays is a day of treats so we decided to get our day off to a healthy start. The Active Schools Committee led us through our 10 days of Christmas exercises before we all set off on a festive 15 minute jog in our Christmas Jumpers. It was a busy few days for the children in 3rd and 4th class as they participated in both a Futsal competition and a Tug of War Blitz. The focus of both events was fun and we had lots of that. Many thanks to Cavan Sports Partnership, The FAI and the Tug of War Association for organising these events. For the last ten school days before the holidays we will be taking the 10 days of Christmas Challenge. On the first day we do 1 lap of the playing court, on day two we do 2 burpees and 1 lap of the playing court and so on until the day of the holidays. Why not try it at home?
