New Space project ideas added below. Or you might like to try these space themed construction activities. Projects are a fantastic way to learn, you are learning new information about a topic you are interested in, learning research skills, practicing reading, writing, spelling, being creative and artistic, you can even practice your maths with data and graphs. We will update this section regularly with ideas for projects you can do. The projects can be adapted for all ages, you can work on your own or as a family, breaking the project down into sections that each family member can work on. You can present your project any way you wish, on a poster, scrapbook or even a powerpoint. There is no time limit to how long you should spend on a project, but we would suggest that it is something you would spend a little time on each day. Of course, you are also welcome to choose a topic that you are interested in and would like to learn more about. We would love to see a small snapshot of your work, so make sure you email us in some photos. Try this simple investigation on dandelions. We see them popping up all over the place at the minute. , but do you know much about them? There are some ideas in this pack that could be used as a starting point for a project on explorers. We aren't able to participate in Food Dudes this year but they have uploaded some suggestions to their website that you could try at home. It would be great if the whole family could take on the challenge.
You could also tie this in with Agri Aware's Incredible Edibles Family Challenge and enter the competition to be in with a chance of winning a prize. Click on the pic. to find lots of activities for kids to enjoy. There are already 5 issues to choose from!!!
